FOUNDERS
The Boredom Set emerged from necessity, an obsessive desire to counteract the pretentious nature of luxury coffee experiences, and a compulsive desire to conquer life’s monotony. Brought up in a college dormitory in Kentucky, and established in Pittsburgh by two transplants, Boredom is the result of reclaiming our idle hands and transforming placidity into artistic action. Boredom is youth, the youth is bored, and that’s why Q Miller-Edwards and Jett Wasson stand here today.

Director of Coffee
Jett is more of a self taught individual in the coffee world. He started roasting coffee in his parent’s basement at 17. With years perfecting his craft on the side to working on a production level, Jett is ready to push the limits.

Q was born and raised in Arizona, and was introduced to specialty coffee at the age of 15. Through years of bar training, multi-waved shop experience, and national competitions, Q proudly considers himself a “Professional Barista” by trade, and a starving artist at heart.
